This is another example of how American's take for granted the blessings they have. If you feel you will not use it again, why not make the trend of donating the gown to someone who may not have the resources or who is less fortunate. It could also be donated to the goodwill or other programs that could use the proceeds from selling it to help the the organizations community services.

My husband and I got married on 11/11/11 and i wanted to have a trash the dress day. So on our 1 year anniversary, we got our bridal party together for a photoshoot. I thought about it all year long and i wanted a cool shoot, not just jumping into a pool. We had a massive paint balloon fight and it was so much fun! We have great photos, and amazing memories from doing it. What's the point of preserving a wedding dress and throwing it in a box in the attic for no one to ever see or use again? "Trashing" it was totally worth it. You might think trashing a dress is immature and selfish, I think it was an awesome experience and I am so glad we did it!

Hi Paige! Personally, us girls at My Glass Slipper could never imagine trashing our beloved wedding dresses either - but we couldn't deny that it's a big trend worth covering. And some of the photos are seriously cool! You could always buy a bargain wedding dress just for the fun photo shoot and unique images.

Why would anyone want to trash their wedding dress? You spend so much time picking out just the right one, stressing about it & usually paying an ass load of money for it. What a stupid idea! I guess if you can get someone else to pay for the dress you won't feel so bad about ruining it. Sounds very immature & selfish to me!

Hi Areti! If you wear a European size 35, then you would be a size 4 in American sizing. That's rather small, and most designers don't make shoes in that size. For Badgley Mischka shoes, you could try the smallest size, which is a 5 or 5.5. Thanks for your comment!
